John Cornelsen

Education: Bachelor of Science, Business Administration University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ

John has worked in the engineering field since 1988.  Guided by strong mentors, he has honed his skill and business knowledge as a rodman, a draftsman and a designer.  During his early tenure, John served as a program manager for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. when working for a large firm, where he oversaw more than 200 projects throughout the western United States.  In 2009 he launched Evolving Texas based on simple principles: client advocacy and expertise surrounded by an amazing team.

Outside of his day to day responsibilities, he co-founded the Fort Worth Chapter of Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) where has also served in regional and global leadership positions for the organization.  As a business leader and community advocate, John has given back to Fort Worth by actively serving organizations and boards of directors; the Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Casa Manana Theatre, Real Estate Connection, International Council of Shopping Centers, Mayor’s International Dinner, Fort Worth Library Foundation, Texas Wesleyan University President’s Advisory Board and the Blue Butterfly Foundation.  He is a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth.
